Certainly, for both clubs, customisation is a benefit. Kindly ensure you’re receiving emails from us so you’re notified as soon as customisation opens two weeks prior to your Wine Club order being processed.
Yes, the cost is R1. This R1 transaction is needed to assign a ‘token’ to your debit or credit card. This process is called the ‘tokenisation’ of a card and is required by Paystack, the payment gateway we use which will store your card details. The ‘token’ is a unique code assigned to the card. This code, instead of the card number, is used to process future transactions. It is a safe process and used by many institutions and companies for recurring online payments.
Yes. Uva Mira does not keep your card details. When you join, your card is ‘tokenised’ by a R1 joining transaction. This means a unique code, called a ‘token’, is assigned to your card. This code – not your card number – will be used for future transactions. Paystack, the payment gateway we use, will store your card details.
Two weeks before your Wine Club order is processed, you will receive an email to customise your order. This is the perfect opportunity to also add wines to your Wine Club order, make alternative delivery arrangements, or chat with us about the wines. You will receive a reminder email 2 days before Wine Club order is processed and your card is charged.
Wine Club orders are automatically* charged to your credit card saved on your account. You will receive reminder emails both 2 weeks and 2 days before your Wine Club order is processed and your card is charged. Please note charges may vary with each Wine Club shipment depending on the seasonal case offer and your customisation thereof.
*By joining, you are agreeing to your card being automatically charged for your Wine Club orders.
If you select Ship Now, your card will be charged immediately and your Wine Club order will be dispatched for delivery as soon as possible.
Yes. You can do this by logging into your Uva Mira Account and changing your payment method on the Club Memberships tab. If we notice that your payment has failed, we will send you an email. You are welcome to contact us at wine@uvamira.co.za with any queries about payment.
You will receive reminder emails both 2 weeks and 2 days before your Wine Club order is processed and your card is charged automatically.
An additional email will be sent to notify you that your Wine Club Order has been dispatched with tracking details.
A detailed payment confirmation will be sent to you via Paystack when you make payment. Should you require a tax invoice, email your request with applicable Company details to wine@uvamira.co.za
Members may cancel their Wine Club Membership Subscription at any time. Cancellations can be made by logging into your Uva Mira Account and cancelling your subscription on the Club Memberships tab. Alternatively, you can cancel your membership in writing and sent to wine@uvamira.co.za. We will then remove your details from the system.
Membership lasts indefinitely until a member unsubscribes through their Uva Mira Account.
Yes. You can do this in by logging into your Uva Mira Account and updating your subscription on the Club Memberships tab. Alternatively, you can email us your request at wine@uvamira.co.za.
Yes, you can place your membership on hold for up to 6 months in which event no Wine Club deliveries will be made. During this time, club benefits and privileges will remain active. Any purchases made within the designated time will receive Members pricing, if applicable. Please email wine@uvamira.co.za to place your membership or hold or any further questions regarding these policies.
Once your wines are dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking details.
Delivery dates are based on your sign up date visible on your Uva Mira Account dashboard.
Bi-Annual Members will receive their follow up delivery 6 months from sign up date.
Quarterly Members will receive their follow up Wine Club delivery 3 months from sign up date.
Please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance if you foresee an issue with your delivery or to request an alternative delivery address. You will receive a reminder email 2 days before your Wine Club order is processed and your card is charged. You may edit your delivery details up until your Wine Club order is processed.
Yes, you may always order via our online wine shop here or email us wine@uvamira.co.za Remember to log in when ordering on the online store to receive your special pricing. Quarterly Wine Club Members receive special members pricing for all wine orders, whether online or in the tasting room.
