The story of Uva Mira is one of vision and passion. Uva Mira was acquired mid 2014 by Mr Toby Venter, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche, Bentley and Lamborghini in South Africa and owner of Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

Toby Venter’s search for a suitable second home in the Cape ended the moment he stepped foot on Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards. The exceptional location on the slopes of the Helderberg Nature Reserve and beautiful energy took his breath away from the very first moment and the rest is history.

Mr Venter has long had an affinity for Stellenbosch since his father, O.T. Venter Senior studied at Stellenbosch University and shared his passion for fine wines with his son. Luxury brands are Mr Venter’s forte and an astute attention to detail encompasses every aspect of his businesses. He is focussed on the pursuit of excellence at Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards.
